MGAF.com sadly must report the passing of a true college football legend, UGA the sixth. The winningest mascot in Georgia history, UGA VI was rushed to a local emergency room Friday after a severe overdose of cocaine. (OK, it was heart problems, but the drug addiction makes for a much more dramatic post)
UGA, who would’ve turned 70 human years in July, passed away from congestive heart failure. His family, friends, and millions of fans all felt the pain as their beloved mascot passed away.
The Bulldog mascot was known around the college football community for being tough around competetive players while being a true lady’s dog.

UGA’s passing is truly sad news for everyone in the football community. RIP UGA.

I’m sure a generous donation in the name of Ron Mexico will be made to the Athens ASPCA.
